Job Description

Village Green is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Sales Consultant team and be the first point of contact at our award-winning apartment communities! As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for managing your sales goals while developing relationships and providing experiences that people will want to share while interacting with you.


 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Identify the needs of our prospective residents to ensure they find the perfect apartment home while addressing any questions or objections they may have.

  • Collaborate with your manager to create personal sales plans and goals to help develop your sales career and exceed company expectations. We also provide a generous sales commission structure.

  • Develop long lasting relationships with our current residents and provide them with exceptional customer experiences.

  • Conduct market studies to research market trends and to better understand your competitors

  • Establish relationships within the community and surrounding area by networking with local businesses and attend social functions related to your position to help promote your community and plan resident events.

  • Process resident documentation including applications, leases, and work orders.

Job Requirements





REQUIREMENTS



  • 1-2 years of sales experience in a retail, hospitality, or multi-family environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office is ideal. Yardi, MRI and/or other multi-housing management software experience is helpful!

  • Exceptional customer service.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills is a must.  

  • Ability to work weekends is necessary. 

  • Undergraduate degree is strongly preferred.
